Pure Trance 5 – genuine copy?
Hi all, I have two identical copies of KLF008R which I don’t think are bootlegs (they’re certainly not the most commonly seen bootleg, as described in the comment at http://www.discogs.com/release/37802 – the last L of Trancentral on the cover juts right into the large 5)
The writing on the spine of my copies is not in the usual Compacta Bold font, it’s a fairly standard sans-serif font, much thinner than Compacta Bold and the letters are almost the full height of the spine, with LAST TRAIN TO TRANCENTRAL in the centre and KLF 8R at the far right (which is the bottom edge of the record)
All the other text on the sleeve and labels looks “normal” but the spine has always struck me as odd. Are real copies like this or have I got a bootleg?
