Covering your ass for £89.99

Now this auction is pants! Especially made for (or so the auction claims) and worn by Cress Cauty in the video of Last Train, these trousers will keep you warm and comfy during all seasons. Also, ridiculous when worn in public.

Just a thought…

… but how can a t-shirt with the ***K THE MILLENNIUM artwork be sold on eBay as a vintage 1990 shirt? And for almost $100 nonetheless? We $hould really $tart to print our own $hirt$ $oon… ;-)

KLF T-Shirt Sells For Over 450 UKP!

While the prices on (more and more obscure) Love Trance bootlegs begin to drop, we got a fresh candidate for the soon-to-be-counterfeited list of KLF items – only this time it’s a T-shirt, sold on eBay for 468 UKP this week! Originally sold for only 7 UKP through The KLF’s mail order service, the auction scored almost 70 times its original value!

A slightly different version – with white letters on black fabric – prominently featured in the Stadium House trilogy videos as well, and while there are said to exist various different editions, they never appear on eBay, adding to their scarce value.

As their definitely seems to be a market for these, will the auction site now get flooded by bootlegged shirts and longsleeves? Ford Timelord’s spare tire? Bill Drummond’s face appearing on a piece of toast? We will see.

KLF T-Shirt Gets Cheaper… Slightly

According to eBay member Adam Wolfson, the original buyer of the extremely expensive KLF shirt that sold about one month ago retracted his final bid after the auction was over, so he was offered the shirt instead.

So, in the end the shirt sold for 300 UKP only *ahem*, rather than 450 UKP. Still, an impressive price for a piece of clothing.

But then again, that’s what we keep telling our wifes and girlfriends all the time, right?

SPACE Bootleg Offered As Original Pressing

If you think about bidding on this auction for Jimmy Cauty’s “SPACE”, please be aware that, unlike posted in the auction’s description, this is not the original pressing of the album, but the late 90s bootleg.

Both can be easily distinguished by the missing KLF Communications copyright note at the bottom of the back sleeve. A more precise description can be found in your FAQs.

It’s that time again, isn’t it?

Once every year, someone is selling a copy of Love Trance on eBay which will probably spark another endless debate over its genuinity and… hey, are you still awake?

All You Need Is Love… Trance!

The last few weeks have seen… “some” copies of Love Trance being sold on eBay lately. While earlier auctions were infrequent and therefore scored an extremely high end price, the latest situation on everybody’s favourite auction site has turned into an all-you-can-eat vinyl festival with the once so rare 12″ being available in all colours and variations.

As with the track itsef, there have been various hints in the past leading to either its genuineness or fake status. While this case still remains unresolved, discussions on this topic continue. We therefore moved all the forum posts from their old News entry to this one so they don’t get lost at a later point.

KLF 92 PROMO 2 on eBay

Not quite THE rarest, but still one of the most sought after KLF singles just popped up on eBay at a quite reasonable starting price (but with a reserve). Definitely something to keep an eye on within the next few days.

Irregular eBay Newsletter #8.5

After the AAA tape and the LTTT rushes were sold this week on eBay, Simon decided to put another unique item on eBay – the original mini-Ford Timelord from the very same video clip!

Looks a bit ropy nowadays, but then again, that’s what you would expect from a 15 year old used car I guess. In case you want to take Ford Timelord for a ride to your home, you should keep an eye on eBay this saturday evening.
