The KLF on Deep Space Safari trying to get a message to Tammy

[KLF] Orb live review

.
Just seen the Orb at The Ironworks in Inverness, and they were excellent. I think this was
a warm up gig as they do the Wickerman festival in Scotland today, a busy time for Alex
& co. The line up was Alex Paterson, Tim Bran, David Nock (drums), Youth (bass) and
D’Eric the Corporal on vocals. Alex came on stage first and did a dj set by himself for half
hour including bits from little fluffy clouds & a huge ever growing pulsating brain..and a mile
lump of lard. He was then joined by the rest of the band and promptly opened with From a
distance and playing through Orb is & Hells Kitchen also from the Bicycles & Tricycles album and Perpetual Dawn which for me was a highlight they also played a few tracks
I didn’t recognise probably from the forthcoming new album. This may be far removed
from their ambient house origins but they are still excellent and it was good to see Youth
up their also a great venue, the Ironworks is both intimate with great acoustics.
